Really, Gotta Step It Up
The concert was rescheduled from the week before, so many of the attendees had to leave to go to school the next day. We were not told that the 'friends' were nothing but local Virginia acts, yet we had to wait in the rain to get in until 7:45pm for the concert that was to begin at 7pm. Chance Pena did not come on until 11pm, and then only did about seven songs, (four from his new album, two from his second, and like one or two from his first). There was also no Michael Jackson tribute as stated. It almost felt that listening to his new CD, which is great, at home on my couch, would have been a greater concert experience. In all and all, it left me with a sad face. :(
